Building Regulations

Building Regulations Compliance and much more

Much as you want to be sure your new windows or doors comply with legal standards and keep you warm, safe and secure…so does the Government.

Every installation in England and Wales must now be registered as meeting national Building Regulations standards.

Don’t worry – you don’t have to do anything

Your installation company should do it for you through one of the authorised ‘self-certification’ bodies such as Assure, Fensa, Certass, BM Trada or BSI.

Any one of them will issue a ‘Certificate of Compliance’ and register the work with the local authority under the Government’s ‘Competent Person’ Scheme.

The Assure Certification Ltd Scheme proudly grew with Independent Network over many years, a close and trusted alliance allowing Independent Network and Assure to offer an unbroken chain of quality assurance for the homeowner

Assure Certification Ltd is now an affiliate member of Independent Network; a trusted name in the industry Assure offering the same quality assurance working closely with Independent Network.

Assure guarantees your installation has been carried out to our exacting standards covering training, workmanship and materials – and carries our own unique package of Insurance Backed Guarantees.
